Connecting your hearing aids to your smartphone is the key to unlocking even more benefits from your hearing aids. You can listen to calls, music, and more directly through your hearing aids. Don’t worry if you’re not a tech expert – this guide will keep things simple and easy to follow. Looking for instructions about how to pair your hearing aids to the Jabra Enhance Select app? We recommend starting with this article instead. 

Before pairing your new hearing aids, unpair any old pairs from your smartphone. Here's how:

iPhone devices:

• Go to your Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices.  
• Click on ‘Your Hearing Aids'
• Scroll down and click on ‘Forget This Device’ 

Android devices:

• Go to your Settings > Connections > Bluetooth.  
• Click on the gear to the right of [Your Name]’s hearing aids.
• Click on 'Unpair’ in the bottom right corner.

Once you've unpaired any old pairs of hearing aids from your phone, make sure:

• Your new hearing aids are charged and are in the charging case
• Your smartphone is charged 
• Your Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone

Pairing steps for iOS devices prior to iOS 27 

1. Open “Settings” 
2. Tap “Accessibility”
3. Scroll down and tap “Hearing Devices”
4. Tap “Your Hearing Aids” when it appears as not connected or not paired.
5. Follow the prompts to pair your hearing aids. You may be asked to confirm pairing twice.
6. Remain on this screen for 2 full minutes to allow the connection to establish.

Pairing steps for iOS devices running iOS 27 or later

1. Open “Settings” 
2. Tap “Accessibility”
3. Tap “Hearing Devices”
4. Remove your hearing aids from the charging case.
5. Tap “Pair MFi Hearing Devices”
6. Tap “Continue”
7. Select your hearing aids when they appear.
8. Tap “Pair”
9. Tap “Done”

Pairing steps for Android devices 

1. Open “Settings”
2. Tap “Bluetooth”
3. Tap “Connected Devices” or “Pair New Device”
4. Remove your hearing aids from the charging case and place them next to your smartphone.  
5. Select your hearing aids when they appear
6. Tap “Pair” or “Connect”
