How to prepare for your video Orientation

 

First, congrats on your new hearing aid purchase! We can't wait to see you at your video Orientation.* This 30-minute appointment covers all the details you'll need to be successful with your new hearing aids. It's also your opportunity to connect with a licensed hearing professional for answers to all of your questions.

Preparing for your video Orientation only takes a few minutes. There are a few things to do and a few things to know. Let's start with the to do.

To do before your appointment:

  1. Log into your account to complete your hearing health questionnaire
  2. If you haven’t already, take our online hearing test or upload your current audiogram. Learn how here.
  3. Test your Zoom connection to avoid any last-minute video or audio issues that might prevent you from arriving on time.
  4. Open your Jabra Enhance box and start wearing your hearing aids. Pay attention to what you’re noticing and jot down any notes for us to discuss together.
  5. Download and connect to the Jabra Enhance Select app on your compatible Apple or Android device.

To know before your appointment:

  1. The date and time of your video Orientation. You can find this on your confirmation email or by contacting us.
  2. We know life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, let us know at least 24 hours in advance - that will allow us to free the time up for another customer.
  3. We do allow a 5-minute grace period, but unfortunately, if you’re unable to join your appointment within 5 minutes of the start time, we’ll need to reschedule. There’s a lot to cover, and we want to be sure we’re able to provide all of the info you need to be successful. 
  4. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time to ensure you’re connected to Zoom with your microphone and camera activated. Contact us right away if you’re having issues joining your appointment so that we can help you troubleshoot. 
  5. Lastly, we’ll need to see you on camera to best support you - please plan to be comfortable, casual, and camera-ready.
