It can be frustrating when new tech doesn't connect right away, but don't worry - there’s usually a quick fix! We've put together a simple guide with the top troubleshooting steps to get you connected to the Jabra Enhance Select app.
Step 1: Confirm compatibility
First things first, let's make sure you’re using a compatible mobile device.
- Check your mobile device’s compatibility at JabraEnhance.com/compatibility. Don’t see your phone listed? That means we haven’t tested your exact phone model and can’t promise it will connect. But, if your smartphone is using iOS 15.5 or later (iPhone) or OS 10.0 or later (Android), we’d still recommend trying to pair to the app.
Step 2: Check the charge
In order to connect your hearing aids to the app, they need to have enough charge.
- Ensure your hearing aids are fully charged and are outside of the charging case before you begin pairing. When your hearing aids are fully charged, the LED light on each hearing aid will be solid green. If it’s blinking green, they’re still charging. It takes 3 hours to fully charge your hearing aids.
Step 3: Avoid interference
Your hearing aids can only be connected to one mobile device at a time, and your mobile device can only be connected to one set of hearing aids at a time. For a seamless pairing experience:
- Disable Bluetooth on any mobile devices you connected to previously (like other phones or tablets).
- Go to your phone's settings and unpair or forget any hearing aids you see listed.

It helps as well to turn off any older pairs of hearing aids you may have been paired to previously and move them away from your mobile device.
Step 4: When in doubt, start fresh
If you're still having trouble, it’s usually best to start with a clean slate. Follow the instructions below to start fresh.
- Turn off your phone completely, then turn it back on.
- Open the Jabra Enhance Select app again and follow the on-screen instructions for pairing.
