Pairing Androids to Version 4.2.0 of the Jabra Enhance Select App

If you're experiencing issues pairing to the Jabra Enhance Select app on an Android phone, this article is for you. It’s likely you need to clear your app data and re-pair your hearing aids. Let’s start by trying the steps below:

 

Step 1: Clear App Data

  1. Go to your phone's Settings.
  2. Tap on Apps.
  3. Tap on Enhance Select.
  4. Tap on Storage.
  5. Tap on Clear Data.
  6. Confirm Delete Data.
  7. Exit back to your phone’s home screen.

 

Step 2: Unpair Hearing Aids from Bluetooth

  1. Go back to your phone's Settings.
  2. Tap on Connections.
  3. Tap on Bluetooth.
  4. Tap on the Gear Wheel to the right of your hearing aids (HAs). If there is no gear wheel, tap Details at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Tap Unpair.
  6. Toggle off Bluetooth for 10 seconds.

 

Step 3: Launch App and Re-pair

  1. Launch the Jabra Enhance Select app.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions until you reach the "one last restart" screen.
  3. When prompted to complete “one last restart”, use the buttons on your two hearing aids to power them off and on instead of putting them in the charging case and removing them. 
  4. To restart your hearing aids with the push buttons, hold down the push button on each hearing aid for about 5 seconds until you see the hearing aid blink green, then release. To turn them back on, hold down the push button again on each hearing aid for 5 seconds until you see a green light and then release. 
  5. Continue to follow the on-screen instructions from this point.
