From listening to music to hopping Zoom calls for work, there’s so many reasons why you’d want to connect your hearing aids directly to your computer via Bluetooth. Unfortunately, this is more complicated than it sounds.
There are a couple reasons why. The first is Bluetooth: Our hearing aids use a specific type of Bluetooth that isn’t compatible with most computers. The other is microchips. Some of today’s newer computers use an M2 microchip that can connect to the Jabra Enhance Select 500. And some PCs with Bluetooth Low Energy Audio can too. But to make it work, it takes a lot of troubleshooting.
That’s why we recommend the MultiMic. With the Multimic, you can connect via the computer’s headphone jack — so no Bluetooth pairing necessary. You can listen to music on Spotify, watch shows. But note: the MultiMic does not stream audio back to the computer. So if you’re in a Zoom meeting for example, you would have to use the computer’s mic as the input and the multimic as the output.
You can purchase a MultiMic on our Accessories page.
