Can someone else wear your hearing aids?

We do not recommend wearing someone else's hearing aids or gifting your previously worn hearing aids to someone else. Here's why:

First, if your hearing aids have been customized for your specific needs, hearing loss, and physical anatomy, they are designed to meet your needs alone. This is because everyone's hearing loss is different. If someone else wears your hearing aids, they may be getting too much or not enough gain, and will not experience the true benefit of the hearing aids.

Second, our Terms and Conditions* state that we can't transfer devices from one individual to another. This means that our Audiology Team isn't able to reprogram your existing devices for someone else's needs.
