Can I buy just one hearing aid?

Generally, most people who have hearing loss in both ears see the best outcome when hearing aids are worn in both ears. That’s why we only sell hearing aids by the pair. Typically, hearing loss related to age or noise exposure tends to affect both ears - even if the degree of hearing loss is slightly different between each ear.

However, if you're wearing one hearing aid today and wish to only wear one, we recommend that you visit an in-person clinic as that may be the best treatment option. If you wish to purchase two hearing aids from us but only wear one on the side you perceive there to be hearing loss, that is your choice, but we don’t recommend it.

What if our online hearing test or a previous audiogram indicates you have hearing loss in just one ear?
In this case, we still recommend that you visit an in-person clinic to get a diagnostic evaluation and discuss treatment options.

Important note: Jabra Enhance solutions do not treat single-sided hearing loss, and they are not advised for customers with severe to profound hearing loss.
