Unpairing and re-pairing your hearing aids can help in the following situations:
- You previously wore different hearing aids and need to disconnect them before pairing your new Jabra Enhance hearing aids.
- You received a replacement device from Jabra.
- You are experiencing issues pairing with the Jabra Enhance Select app or having connection problems.
- You want to connect your hearing aids to multiple devices (e.g., iPhone and iPad).
- You just got a new phone
Step 1: Unpair your hearing aids
For iOS devices (iPhone or iPad)

- Open settings: Go to your Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices.
- Find your previous hearing aids: Select the hearing aids that are connected in MFi hearing devices.
- On the hearing aids screen, scroll down and tap Forget This Device.
- Confirm by tapping Forget. In the Hearing Devices screen, ensure your hearing aids show as Not Paired.
For Android devices

- Open Settings and go to Connections. Tap
- Select Bluetooth.
- Find your hearing aids in the list of paired devices and tap the gear icon next to them
- Scroll down and select Unpair or Forget (the option may vary depending on your phone).
Step 2: Restart your phone and hearing aids
Restarting your phone and hearing aids helps clear Bluetooth cache and reset connections, ensuring a smooth re-pairing process.
- Place your hearing aids in the charging case (if you have rechargeable hearing aids) or open the battery doors of your hearing aids to turn them off.
- Restart your phone by turning it off completely and then turning it back on to refresh its system. (instructions for iOS / Android).

Once your phone is back on, take the hearing aids out of the case or close the battery doors.
Step 3: Re-pair your hearing aids
Open the Jabra Enhance Select App and follow the screens instructions to re-pair your hearing aids to your phone and to the app.

For step-by-step visual pairing instructions, use our Get Started guide. Select your device model and go to the Connect to the App page from the top navigation.
For iOS device (iPhone or iPad):
- Open Settings and go to Accessibility > Hearing Devices to begin searching for your hearing aids.
- Remove your hearing aids from the charger and bring them near to your mobile device.
- Tap the name of your hearing devices that appears in the MFI Hearing Devices field.
- When prompted, tap Pair to accept both pairing requests for both your left and right hearing aids.
- Open the Jabra Enhance Select app and follow the on-screen instructions to begin connecting your hearing aids
- When prompted, tap Allow Bluetooth to allow the app to connect to your hearing aids.
- When the pairing is complete, your hearing aids will show as connected in the app.
For Android devices:
- Open the Jabra Enhance Select app and follow the on-screen instructions to begin pairing your hearing aids.
- When prompted, tap Allow Bluetooth to allow the app to connect to your hearing aids. The app now searches for your hearing aids.
- When prompted, tap Pair to accept both pairing requests for both your left and right hearing aids.
- Continue following the instructions in the Jabra Enhance Select app.
- Scroll down and select Unpair or Forget (the option may vary depending on your phone).
- When the pairing is complete, your hearing aids will show as connected in the app.

If your having trouble restarting your hearing aids, place them in the charger for 10 seconds, and then remove them. Alternatively, you can press and hold the push buttons on your hearing aids for 5 seconds to turn them off. The LED light will blink 3 times when the hearing aid turns off. Then, press and hold another 5 seconds to turn them back on. A steady green light will briefly appear when the hearing aids turn back on.
