Hi, how can we help?

Hearing Aids

This article will help you troubleshoot common problems with your hearing aids.

Many issues that occur with your hearing aids can be resolved in a few short steps! Please take a look at our guide below:

Do your hearing aids feel like they are not fitting correctly?

If you feel that the hearing aids are not fitting well, please see the picture below of how to use our receiver measurement tool, which will determine the wire length you need. The crescent-shaped tool can be found in your Jabra Enhance™ Bundle.

Before you measure your ears, check out this video on how to wear your Jabra Enhance Hearing Aids to ensure they are seated properly in your ears!

Follow the instructions laid out in the picture below. For the right ear, you will want the red side out, and for the left ear, the blue side will be out.

Once you have the tool in place you can take the photo (like the one above) or have someone take the picture for you.

For the best results, have someone take a photo of the measurement tool while it is nestled against your ear (or take it yourself).

When you are ready to send us your pictures please go back to your chat window or email us support@jabraenhance.com

Did you feel like your hearing aids have stopped working, or are having a sound quality concern?

Many times following these simple steps can get your hearing aids up and working again with little effort!

Step 1 - Reset Your Hearing Aids

Follow these steps to reset your hearing aids:

1. Remove the hearing aids from your charger and wait until the green light stops blinking on the hearing aids.

2. For EACH hearing aid, hold down the program button on top of the hearing aid for 25 full seconds. (This may seem like a long time, but keep holding for the full 25 seconds. Timing yourself with a clock or your phone is helpful).

3. As you hold the button down, you'll see a blinking green light around the 5 second mark. Keep holding the button.

4. Around the 25 second mark, you will see the green light come on again and will stay on for a second, release the button now.

5. Put the hearing aid up to your ear at this point to hear the start-up beeps which confirm that the reset has completed.

Hopefully, this resolves your concern. However, if your issue persists your hearing aids may need a thorough cleaning. Please go to Step 2 for assistance cleaning your devices.

Step 2 - Cleaning your hearing aids

Watching the video below will help guide you through the entire cleaning process.

Even if your hearing aids do not appear to have any visible build up on them, we always recommend cleaning and changing your wax filters as this can resolves many issues.

Did you know?

Wax filters can become clogged even on brand new hearing aids, that have only been worn for 10 seconds! If your hearing aids ever sound soft or like they have stopped working always change your wax guards first.
