Your first day with hearing aids may not be what you expect, but don’t worry, you’ll soon adjust. People often say hearing aids are more comfortable than in-ear headphones. You should start to hear things you were not able to hear before. 

Sounds or voices may seem different than you expect at first. This is normal. Your brain needs time to adjust to this new way of listening. Your audiologist can help you with this during your orientation.
